The glare of reflected light from the sun blinds me on the beach. With each blink
the salt causes an unpleasant burning sensation at the corners of the eyes.
tried unsuccessfully to remove it by rubbing with fingers that paradoxically have an even greater level of salinity.
irritation increases, watery eyes, vision becomes blurred.
